2024 Next Best Comic Award
Submissions for the 2024 Next Best Comic award are ***NOW OPEN****
Winning a stand up competition can be a big deal for an up and coming comedian. From being able to book better events, to being offered more opportunities to be seen by larger audiences in more locations regionally, or around the world. As a #NextBestComicAward winner you may get the chance to perform at our events in front of audiences in the multiple cities. If you continue to grow as a stand up comedic performer you may be offered even more... Perhaps your own stand up special filmed by our crew.
It all starts here. If you are interested in competing for the title of Next Best Comic, fill in the forms with your video links and you will be entered. All applicants are considered, and your video performance will be judged against all other applicants by a 5 judge panel.
Those that make it thru to the final will have the opportunity to perform their best 5 minutes live on stage at the Windsor Comedy Festival where the winner will be determined by the audience.
Will you be the Next Best Comic?
Submission will be accepted from January 1, 2024 to October 20, 2024. All entries will be reviewed and those that make it to the final will be notified by November 1, 2024.
Regarding the current 2024 competition.
The live finale will take place December 27, 2024 at the Windsor Comedy Festival in the Chrysler Theater, 121 Riverside Dr, W, Windsor On
